if i noticed it, then its terrible.

so much for being a native english speaking country.
so much for looking down on asians who can't pronounce their english words well.
so much for criticising the silly little mistakes that asians make in their speech.
so much for being (or trying to be rather!) all superior in their own language.

i spotted a grammatical error in The Sydney Morning Herald today (29th of June 2006. i haven't slept the whole day la).

me, the very blur and generally "huh? what happenned" person, spotted an error on the first article i read on SMH. chet! *up yours u bunch of ignorant fools* its a humongous deal if i spot any silly mistakes hokay. i make tonnes of silly mistakes too but this is just so bad (coz I noticed it).

i didn't manage to read the other articles coz the moment i saw the mistake, i sneered and bitched about it so much to the dad till we reached central. then, i left the papers at the indian restaurant in the middle of sydney's red light district.
(yes, yes, i went to kings cross with the dad. we were there to collect the rented car eh! not to go to porky's).

so, if there're anymore 'native' english speaking people out there who can't stop bitching about the poor engrish we asians have, time to take a look at your own reflection isn't it?

i think, if it were to be an ST journalist who made a silly mistake like that in SPH, that journalist'll get fired (even before the article's publishe coz i'm damn sure the editors will spot them).

one month stay and the always cold uncle

as of 23rd june, i've had shehmoo mobu for exactly a month. i took his photo to compare his size (and gender) when he first came to unit 2 to the following month. so far, his size has definitely changed (for the better. bigger and juicier. heeh!) and even his gender has changed. hah! okay, the first time i got him, his balls weren't developed yet, so i thought he was a she. now that he's growing well, well...... his balls are also growing well.

i'm gonna walk all over you

guess who went shoe shopping with her daddy yesterday?!?

guess who managed to get a fantastic deal for buying a pair of boots yesterday?

guess who was supposed to be the one getting a new pair of shoes but couldn't get his right size yesterday?

okay, to date, i've bought a total of 10 pairs of shoes last year and this year (not including the thongs/slippers).

i've 5 pairs of boots already
-combat boots (lovely ncc days. haha!)
-a pair frm VS
-a pair of suede boots i would've never get if playmate didn't love me so much to drive me to the warehouse just to cheer me up (i remember eh! and yes, i'm still grateful for that and the many moments u tried to cheer me up).
-a pair of no heels one
-and the pair that came free with the no heels one.

heeh!

if there's anyone out there who thinks that i'm here to just show off or to boast, well, don't be a sour grape okay? God gave me this advantage. maybe He'll give u new bags? hah!

this time, i kept my mouth shut.

2nd flying trip. had to wake up at 4am coz we planned to fly longer. however, shit had to happen. at 6000feet, the heater refused to work in the 1 degree temperature and my toes were so cold that i didn't feel any sensation by the time we got to deniliquin. i swear, if my toes could've died of pneumonia, they would've. a couple of good people tried to fix the plane but there was nothing that they can do. so we had to fly back and this time, i was prepared for the temperature. i used bro's gloves (that dad brought along) and put them over my feet. not funny okay! cold like crazy ah! we went as high as 10 000 feet on our way back (coz it'll take a shorter time) and had egg sandwiches along the way (dad made me make them). i was so tired that i couldn't even smile. no chance of me makin a fool of myself anymore eh! heeh!

yesterday and today, slack at home. dad must be starving coz he didn't have enough rice for dinner today. and i ran out of rice. heeh! and its raining, so no chance to go to woolies. and the weather forecast said its gonna rain the whole week. heeh!

yesterday was a tiring day (the picture below the first picture will explin why). i was sitting in the middle at the backseat of peter's car. his friend asked us where we're going (she's going for drinks with her friends and hitched a ride in pete's to gong) and we said we're going for cheesecake. she said something and i heard 'cheesecake' uttered. so i said mmm... cheesecake... yum yum. suddenly, lowell and amy looked at me and burst out laughing like there's no tomorrow. after 10 seconds, it occured to me. she asked where we're going for cheesecake. and i said yum yum... cheesecaaake.

in the meantime, let me update to u and anybody reading about my miserable life here. i have a piece of home with me now (look at picture below), exams are OVAH and i almost lost my cat twice, thanx to dad. toodles!

i see balls on my cat. apparently, its a male. the name, however, will remain the same. shehmoo is a kinda native american (i.e: red indian) tribe and mobu, like i said before is a combination of goMOk and kelaBU. so, unless its wrong to describe a male human being, animals and whathaveyous gemok and kelabu, the name MOBU shall also remain.

shik! welkam back! haa! i've inquired about bringing shehmoo mobu back home. its a whopping 1000buckaroos balls! (pun intended). unless i get a donation of at least 500 bucharoos (this is a hint to everyone in the whole wide world eh!), i cannot afford to bring him home laaaaaa.... u come here la! heeh!

and tomorrow! its my exams! no, i can't remember what i've studied. i'm freakin out. i need all the prAyers in the world and i need an entire universe's worth of miracle for two and a quarter hours tomorrow afternoon. can?

my aching brain needs a rest.

been pouring through an entire semester's lecture notes these 2 days and finally, i'm done. now, 600pages of text by sunday (mampos la aku). pls pray for me. pls pray for me that i'll do well. yes, i'm desperate. haa!

shehmoo mobu is dashing around the house like a crazy cat, pouncing on her toys (and my feet as well). the pictures below do not do justice to what she's doing right now.

this afternoon, i practised conditioning on her. i paired an unconditioned stimulus with a conditioned stimulus to get a conditioned response. i can see your blurred expression! haa! let me explain. i screamed 'NO!' and beat her (lightly) at the same time whenever she did something undesirable, like jumping on the stove, playing with the telephone wires and attempting to step on my prayer mat to make her avoid doing those things in the future by only saying 'NO!'.
